Facilities for Differently Abled Persons in Test Centers

IELTS guarantees that applicants with disabilities are not discriminated against and are evaluated objectively. IELTS test centre personnel will help applicants with visual, hearing, speaking, or listening disabilities. If a candidate needs assistance at the testing centre, they must tell the authorities at least six weeks before the exam. Special accommodations, such as grace time to complete the questions, are also possible for applicants who produce relevant medical documents as proof.

However, regardless of any disabilities or special accommodations requested, the candidate's English language competence will be evaluated objectively. Candidates who are blind or visually challenged will be provided Braille papers to enable them to take the test. Candidates in this category may also request speaking task cards and a lip-reading version of the listening test. Candidates with learning difficulties such as ADHD or dyslexia may also request specific accommodations.

IELTS Test Centres Rules & Regulations for Candidates

IELTS test facilities in India follow a consistent set of norms and regulations that should be followed before taking the test.
