It is now time to wait for the IELTS exam results. The findings will be available in less than two weeks. To find out the results, go to the official websites of the IDP or the British Council. Candidates will be given an IELTS score on a scale of 1-9 for all four parts. Aside from that, they will be given their overall band score. Applicants must comprehend the band IELTS score. IELTS Score Validity
Candidates receive their test results within 5 to 7 days of finishing the exam. On the other hand, the offline technique can take up to 13 days.
IELTS Band Score
The IELTS exam is divided into four sections: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Each component accounts for 25% of the overall IELTS band score. As a result, each piece is equally important.

IELTS Band Score (Section Wise)
The listening test has 40 questions. If you successfully answer the question, you will receive one point. The highest and minimum marks for the IELTS listening component are 40 and 0. The applicants' marks are transformed into an IELTS band scale of 1 to 9, which is essentially the raw score (number of correct answers).

IELTS Reading Band Score
The IELTS reading test has 40 questions. If you properly answer a question, you will receive one mark. A candidate's highest mark is 40, while their lowest mark is 0. The applicants' marks are transformed into the IELTS band scale.
IELTS Speaking Band Score
The IELTS Speaking Test is divided into three sections. The first section lasts four to five minutes, during which the examiner will ask you basic questions about your studies, family, employment, and so on. In part 2, you will be given a card to talk about a certain topic. You will have one minute to deliberate before speaking for two minutes. Part 3 of the IELTS Speaking test expands the topic covered in Part 2 and requires you to explain more abstract concepts and topics.

IELTS Writing Band Score
The Academic and General Training Writing parts of the IELTS Writing exam have two tasks. Each task is graded individually on a scale of 0 to 9, with task 2 receiving more significant weightage than task 1. For assignment 1, you will be needed to summarise the information presented to you in the form of a graph, diagram, chart, or table on the IELTS Academic writing test. Task 2 requires you to compose an essay in response to an argument or point of view.

Because IRCC takes 6 months to complete your application, you need to make sure your IELTS exam results are valid for the entire time. A minimum language competence of CLB 7, or a minimum of 6.0 for each area of the IELTS exam, is required for permanent residency through Express Entry.
