The National Scholars Program (NSP) is one of the most prestigious scholarships in the USA. If you are thinking about educational opportunities at Eastern Michigan University, you can give this financial aid a try. It is offered for Master's students, including those pursuing courses like MS in Human Resources and Organisational Development, MS in Computer Engineering, MBA with specialisation in Human Resource Management, MS in Clinical Nursing Research, Master of Business Administration (MBA), MS in Finance, MS in Polymers and Coating Technology, MS in Nursing Education etc. To be eligible for this scholarship, you should have completed your grade 12 and a Bachelor's with a pretty good score.

NSP Scholarship Eligibility

There are no special restrictions for international students applying for the NSP scholarship. A couple of common criteria are given below.

• Completed grade 12.
• Completed a Bachelor's program with a GPA of at least 3.6.
• Should be admitted to a first-year Master's degree program.
• Should have a non-resident admission status.
• Should be a resident of any of the 239 countries, including India.

Application Process for NSP Scholarship

All international students will be automatically considered for this scholarship when they take admission to those courses that fall under the category. You are not required to apply separately for this scholarship. You are, however, required to submit the following documents.

• Proof of English proficiency test.
• You should demonstrate your ability to cover all your expenses.
• You should submit all international post-secondary transcripts from a non-US educational institution.

As mentioned above, the National Scholars Program is offered to students from 239 countries, including India. It is offered for all Master's programs at Eastern Michigan University, including the following ones.

Student Awards & Amounts for NSP Scholarship

The number of students who will be awarded the NSP scholarship varies, and there is no set limit on the number of students. This is a one-time scholarship, the award value of which is USD 10,792, which comes to around INR 8,93,561.41. This is calculated on the basis of the conversion rate of USD 1 = INR 82.80 (as of August 4, 2023). This scholarship amount can be used for tuition fees. It does not cover other expenses like health coverage, application, living expenses, accommodation, airfare/travel expenses, spouse/child care, and others.
