Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences

The course of Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences deals with the study of animal husbandry and veterinary sciences. It teaches the students about ways to nourish the animals, their treatment, prevention, and diagnosis of various animal diseases, and much more.

To be eligible for admission in this course, students with biology in class 12 must secure at least 50% marks from any recognised board. Students who have cleared recognised entrance exams for Veterinary courses such as ICAR AIEEA, CG PAT, NEET, etc., can also apply for colleges that offer courses in the Veterinary science disciplines where admissions are conducted based on merit. Students with this degree can make on an average of INR 5 LPA, and their maximum salary can range up to INR 10 LPA considering it is a high-in-demand job in India.

The average salary of a graduate in food technology is INR 3.8 LPA and can vary depending on personal skills. To get admission to this course, students are required to be from a science background with Biology as one of their core subjects and obtain at least 50% marks in their 10+2. Some colleges conduct their own entrance exams and admit students who have cleared exams through CUET UG.
