Victoria University: Highlights

Victoria University started when an idea for a technical school in the western suburbs of Melbourne was initially proposed in 1910. After five years of crowdsourcing, the Footscray Technical School became open to 220 students and nine teachers in 1916. Victoria University: Admission Process

Victoria University has a term-based educational system. Therefore, students must apply for various intakes in February, July, and November. Here's the admission process to help you apply for the same.

  1. Choose an admission category applicable to you.
  2. Collect copies of your documents requirement and course-specific criteria credentials.
  3. After you have prepared your application, you have 2 ways to submit it.
  • You can directly apply to VU online.
  • You can apply via VTAC in the following cases.
  • You are currently a class 12 student, and your chosen course is listed in it.
  • You have submitted an application to VTAC for the ongoing intake.

Victoria University: Eligibility Criteria

Before applying to Victoria University, you must meet the eligibility criteria. Below we have given these guidelines for your reference.

The following are the eligibility criteria for Bachelor's degrees.
  • Grade 12 is equivalent to an Australian year 12.
  • Good English proficiency test score.
The following are the eligibility criteria for Master's degrees.
  • Bachelor's degree equivalent to an Australian Honor's degree, Bachelor's degree, or a graduate Diploma.
  • Good English proficiency test score.
The following are the eligibility criteria for Doctoral degrees.
  • Honor's degree taught Master's degree with a research component or equivalent qualification from an approved University.

You must submit an application form to get accommodation at Victoria University on-campus. The university offers Unilodge, a modern 12-story building offering more than 500 beds in a mix of studio apartments, two bedrooms, and six bedrooms shared apartments. It provides fully furnished modern apartments with a bathroom, kitchen, fan, heater, internet facilities, 24/7 secure building access, study desk, chair, pin board shelves, TV, shared lounge, etc. Overall, it's like living in your own modern house.
